If the Post-it® Flex Write Surface installation instructions and recommended removal instructions were followed, then the product can be removed without damaging the surface it is sticking to.
Post-it® Dry Erase Surface is designed to work only with standard dry erase markers. Post-it® Flex Write Surface is designed to work with dry erase and permanent markers, No chemicals are needed to erase permanent marker on Post-it® Flex Write Surface. Use water and provided microfibre cloth to erase permanent and any leftover dry erase residue. Beyond this, they use the same Post-it® Brand adhesive and are similar thickness.
Post-it® Flex Write Surface is designed to stick to a variety of primed and painted drywall, printed metal, glass, finished wood, and existing whiteboards or chalkboards. Not recommended for use on unprimed drywall, cinder block, brick, wallpaper, or heavily textured or delicate surfaces.
Yes you can. However, horizontal uses of Post-it® Flex Write Surface, like on a table or desk, increases the likelihood that the film will be damaged from sharp or hard object, and is not covered by the 3-year warranty.
Yes. Post-it® Flex Write is great to use for resurfacing existing chalkboards and whiteboards. Prior to installing the product, chalkboards and whiteboards should be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, debris and cleaning chemical residue.
Yes. Use standard dry erase and permanent markers. Metallic ink permanent markers are not recommended. Do not use ultra-fine tip markers, pens, or pencils.
Spray the ink with a generous amount of water, let the water sit for a moment on the ink, and then wipe away using the provided microfibre cloth.
Water should be used to clean Post-it® Flex Write Surface. While whiteboard cleaners have not been found to damage the product, they are not recommend or needed for cleaning purposes.
Yes. The Post-it® Brand had a recommended wall adhesion test that can be used to get an indication if a wall primer is needed before installation.
For standard installations where the product does not need to be cut to a special size, no unique tools are needed. For installation that require trimming or pieces longer than the standard lengths, please refer to the product instructions for more details on the tools required for installation.
Select a corner of the film and peel slowly and smoothly away rom the wall. For best results, gently pull away at a 180° angle.
CAUTION: Pulling the film away from the wall in a fast or aggresive motion may result in the film or surface being damaged.
