Letter Match
Letter recognition is one of the most important pre-literacy skills, and introducing our little ones to all kinds of fonts helps them get a well-rounded and complete picture of the alphabet. Afterall, in the real world we use and read different styles of writing all the time. This activity is quick and easy to set-up but super fun for your little ones to complete! Plus, you can play over and over again.
Materials:

Start with your Post-it® Super Sticky Easel Pad and write the letters of the alphabet in various fonts all over it. Get creative and don’t worry about having perfect handwriting.

Using your Post-it® Super Sticky Notes, write the letters of the alphabet again, but using a font your little ones already recognize (think: simple, traditional letters).

Stick your Post-it® Super Sticky Easel Pad onto a flat surface (like a wall or table) and scatter your Post-it® Super Sticky Notes around it.

Invite your little one to peel the Post-it® Super Sticky Notes off and then match them to the letters on your Post-it® Super Sticky Easel Pad! This is excellent fine motor practice in addition to reinforcing letter recognition.

- Reset the letters to play again! Post-it® Super Sticky Notes are truly super sticky so this game is easy to repeat with your littles again and again.
If you are looking for an easier variation to start your little ones off with, try matching upper and lowercase letters instead! Write the uppercase letters on your Post-it® Super Sticky Easel Pad and lowercase letters on Post-it® Super Sticky Notes and match them together. You can also colour code the letter pairs to scaffold the learning even more.
