Getting everyone to help clean up the office can be easy with the right motivation. Make a list of all the projects that need to be completed (removing empty boxes, organizing, cleaning out the refrigerator, decluttering, dusting, etc.).
Divide the projects into three groups — red, yellow and green. Then write each cleaning task on an index card and attach a red, yellow or green Post-it® To Do Flag at the top of the card. Divide employees into teams and give each team a project of each color. Once they’ve completed the task on the card, have them all sign it and turn it in. The team that successfully completes all three projects first wins the grand prize.
